{ ¿Existe la evolución? }

Recibí este chiste gráfico hace un par de días, coincidiendo con un debate en la lista de socios de ARP. ¿Los seres humanos somos la cúspide inevitable de la evolución? Cuidado con lo que entendemos por evolución. Charles Darwin tituló su libro El origen de las especies y nunca habló de la evolución como un proceso que inevitablemente conduce a seres más complejos. (Por cierto, como Copérnico, Darwin mantuvo guardado su libro en un cajón durante 20 años, por temor al qué dirán).

Durante 2000 millones de años, en la Tierra solo existió vida relativamente simple en forma de células procariotas. Asi, no es evidente que en los planetas extrasolares de tipo terrestre deban aparecer, tras varios miles de millones de años, mamíferos con dos ojos, dos brazos y dos pies capaces de construir radiotelescopios. La teoría de las especies de Darwin tampoco trata de cómo a partir de células sencillas aparecen animales. La evolución es un proceso azaroso, donde interviene la selección natural, las mutaciones y la variabilidad genética, donde la vida se interna por laberintos de infinitas posibilidades y donde solo aquellos más aptos -que no más complejos- sobreviven: y no me cree, pregúntele Vd. al señor tiranosaurio.

PD: Cuidado si buscas en el Google «teoría de la evolución». Puedes encontrarte con agradables sorpresas como esta:

Darwin se pasó esos 20 años convencido de la evolución y de la selección natural, tras su vuelta del viaje del Beagle. Pero el grueso de El Origen de las Especies lo escribió en sólo 13 meses, deprisa y corriendo, para adelantarse a Wallace :-)

para mi el universo por todo lo q vemos y imagenes conocidas tiene forma de ovalo estirado (huevo) o huevosfera. todo lo q conocemos se relaciona con esa figura nuetro cerebro, los huevos de gallina, por ultimo nuestra cabeza a lo largo de la evolucion humana...continuara jejejeje

Me parece muy interesante, primeramente yo no creo en la evolucion hay todavia muchas cosas por descubrir. Suponiendo que hay un 99% de probabilidad de que si hallamos evolucionado todavia hay un 1% por resolver y en esta vida un 1% puede ser mas grande que un 99%. Creo que todo depende del punto de vista de cada quien,segun la biblia Dios creo al hombre y todo lo que nos rodea. Crees que un explosion hubiera dejado las cosas tan organizadas como estan, un reloj no se hace si no hay un relojero quien lo haga las piesas no caen del cielo y aparece un nuevo reloj, tuvo que haber alguien mas grande que lo hiciera, eso creo yo. Piensalo..... DTB.

Sam: La evolución no es una teoría, es un hecho. Los genes se transmiten de padres a hijos. Los genes tienen mutaciones. Hay presión medioambiental. La selección natural funciona. Hay toneladas y toneladas de fósiles que muestran cómo unas especies dan lugar a otras. Que los fósiles más antiguos son de especies menos complejas. La genética comparada, además, da cuenta de esa evolución. Richard Dawkins tiene un libro interesante que explica cómo la selección natural explica perfectamente el incremento de complejidad, que se da durante miles de millones de años, llamado Escalando el monte improbable.

Veo que se estan mezclando varios conceptos que bien se pueden unir bajo una misma teoria no son la misma ya que e esta hablando de evolucion,origen de las especies y origen del universo(o Big-bang). La evolucion como bien ha dicho rvr es un hecho mas que comprovable pero no es cierto lo que se esta insinuando aqui; la evolucion no lleva siempre hasta organismos mas complejos,es decir que hay especies que estan evolucionando hacia modelos mas sencillos y esto debido sencillamente a que es mas benefioso para ellos,por el simple azar,... En segundo lugar hablan del origen de la vida, y creo que todos conocemos la teoria del origen de esta en nuestros mares y de la que hay muchas evidencias y cada dia se adelanta en este campo un poco mas(creanme que las razones de esta son de mucho mucho peso anque no pienso dar aqui una clase magistral). Y otra cosa es el origen del universo desde el big-bang la cual esta demostrada matematicamente y comprobable en el hecho que el universo se expande y eso es un hecho... Ahora bien,es cierto que son teorias(menos la evolucion en si)pero completamente racionales y demostradas de varias maneras...no se trata de q las cosas se formaran en un miserable 1%(creanme cuando les digo que nisiquiera llega a una milesima de este porcentaje)si no que que la vida tal y como la conocemos y nosotros el ser humano somos la suma de un gran numero de reacciones fisicas y quimicas que nos han hecho ser lo que somos...pero para ello se han dado illones de veces los procesos erroneos,no se trata de que todo sea perfecto y a la primera haya surgido la primera celula,luego el primer ser pluricelular luego,...no eso es completamente imposible,si no que se han dado tantas y tantas veces errores que "algo" bien tiene que salir...por eso la vida surio en millones y millones de años al igual que la evolucion. Espero no haberles aburrido con la opinion de este estudiante de biologia.

En el tiempo en que Darwin escribió su libro la ciencia estaba bastante lejos de ser capaz de explicar cómo simples células se convierten en seres complejos, él sólo se limitó a crear una teoría frente a la evidencia que pudo observas a lo largo de su experiencian como naturalista. Cierto es que la evolución no debe necesariamente a crear seres más complejos, por ejemplo, qué más simple que una bacteria, sin embargo su sencillez es suficiente como para superarnos enormemente en número, fuerza y capacidad de supervivencia. Nosotros, y toda la vida que existe junto a nosotros, somos el resultado de cómo las cosas se fueron dando ocasionalmente, pudo haber millones de posibilidades de evolucionar, nosotros somos una de esas posibilidades, la que "se dió". Además la teoría de Darwin estrictamente tenía "errores", según de ha podido constatar hoy en día. En cuanto a Dios... personalmente las explicaciones teóricas que existen sobre cómo se han sucedido ciertas cosas, o la mayoría de las cosas, en este universo me parecen muy lógicas y las razones que la ciencia puede entregar saltan a la vista del que se adentra más allá en argumentos matemáticos, físicos y/o químicos. Por ello no veo que haya sido necesaria la intervención divina hasta donde nuestra capacidad de comprensión ha llegado, no veo qué pudo Dios haber hecho milagrosamente dentro de este universo... Sin embargo nuestra comprensión tiene un límite... aún la "singularidad" que es el punto de inicio de la teoría del Big-bang no se ha podido explicar... se supone un "punto de densidad y masa infinita qdonde las leyes de la naturalezan no aplican..." bueno, hasta unos pocos segundos después de que "eso" explotara (sin existir una idea aún de por qué lo hizo) ha llegado la comprención humana a racionalizar los procesos lógicos que debieron haber acontecido, pero cuidado, no están comprobados. Ahora... antes de eso... la teoría de las branas, la teoría M, Dios... etc son posibilidades equivalentes. Pueden todas ellas ser o no efectivas. Eso lo veremos cuando encontremos algún medio para estudiar y comprender mejor los procesos que pudieron haber sido en ese momento. Una última cosa: La Biblia es un texto espiritual, netamente espiritual. No se la puede enfrentar a la ciencia, pues son cosas diferentes. Es un libro escrito hace miles de años, cuyas historias más antiguas (las del Antiguo Testamento) pasaban de boca en boca... no podemos exigirle a quienes la escribieron argumentos científicos... ni siquiera sabían la forma de sus continentes, ni que la tierra era redonda... es natural que pensaran que Dios creó el mundo en 6 días, y entre medio al ser humano... son sólo mitos ideados para dar explicación sobre el origen de las cosas desde la capacidad que poseían los seres humanos en esa época (la misma iglesia católica asume que de hecho es así), y no solo eso, los relatos del génesis fueron muy probablemente adaptaciones de relatos más antiguos, como el de la creacion del hombre de los babilónicos ("enuma elish"). Así pues no es correcto enfrentar la Biblia y la Ciencia, son dos rubros diferentes, cada uno se preocupa de hacer lo suyo: la biblia de impartir espiritualidad y modo de vida y la ciencia de encontrar explicaciones científicas de acuerdo a lo que el ser humano observa de este mundo con curiosidad, que es algo tán propio nuestro y que nos define como especie.
