{ Conjunción Venus-Júpiter al anochecer }

Estos días se puede disfrutar al anochecer de una estupenda conjunción entre los dos luceros más brillantes del cielo, los planetas Venus y Júpiter. A simple vista, hoy los separará una distancia menor que el diámetro aparente de la luna llena (22 minutos de arco, la luna tiene ~30'). Para observar este fenómeno lo único que tienes que hacer es mirar hacia el Oeste. ¡No te lo pierdas!



En días anteriores para fotografiar la conjunción utilicé la cámara réflex y el teleobjetivo. Pero ayer los planetas ya estaban lo suficientemente cerca para usar la cámara montada a foco primario en el telescopio. La distancia aparente que separaba a Venus y Júpiter era de 43', una luna y media. El resultado se puede ver en el siguiente vídeo:



Se puede ver cómo Venus (la estrella más brillante) no tiene forma esférica, sino que presenta una fase creciente, como la Luna. Este fue uno de los descubrimientos de Galileo con su telescopio. A 1/30s de exposición los satélites galileanos no son visibles, pero en las fotografías de varios segundos, sí. Esta fotografía tiene 5 segundos de exposición, y se puede ver a Calisto, Ganímenes y Europa.



Como bonus extra, capturé un vídeo de la Luna, en fase gibosa creciente.



El equipo utilizado es un telescopio reflector SkyWatcher 150/750, sobre montura NEQ6 y cámara Canon 100D.
